From My Little Kitchen With Love [Part 4]
Been so long since my last post on FooD. I've been avoiding cooking lately coz I notice that I tend to eat a lot whenever I cook my own dishes.
Oh, I had moved out from my previous house (government quarters) and now staying at a much proper house. It's kinda sad coz been living there almost 2 years and the house actually the biggest government house that I ever been so far. Big living room with build in cabinet, 3 big rooms with build-in cabinet too and the best part is, I love the big kitchen with build-in cabinet too...
Now, the place I'm staying have really 'tiny' kitchen space. I couldn't even move freely. It makes me hate to go to the kitchen. I am not so sure whether this is good or bad news? Finally, I don't have to cook (Yaiiiii, can control my food intake) but eating out is not healthy habit too coz we never know how hygienic it is.
So, this is my last home cooking prepared in my 'used to be little kitchen'. After this, it gonna be from my little TINY kitchen...

My Very First Attempt with Photo Editing..
I was looking around in my facebook pictures when I saw my 'photo editing ' album. So, I decided to save and republish the pictures in my blog.
When I first learn to do image manipulations, I don't even know what is 'subject', a stranger to short form terms (b&w), don't know what is composition, not even familiar with dodging and so on. Basically, I am totally zero in photography world.
The only reason why we bought a DSLR at the first place is just because we are going to UK and I wanted to have super duper clear pictures there. I am really grateful that we did this because my digital camera suddenly got jammed when we reached UK.

So, back to the topic. Hubby installed Photoshop CS3 and LightRoom in the laptop with the hope that I will learn something from it. I think he really wanted me to learn 'something' and I don't have any intention to get involve with it (at first).
However, everything started when I first took my cousin's actual wedding day pictures ( Mr. & Mrs Reynold ). Oh my first time operating a DSLR is using the setting manually. Hubby never taught me the auto setting and I don't dare to change the setting. So most of my pictures during the wedding is either too dark or too bright. Honestly, I love most of my shot but need to do something about the pictures. This is where I first started doing editing.
At first, I edited those pictures by doing the basic things like image adjustment; brightness/contrast and black/white. I learnt to use the 'healing brush' and yes, this is one of my favourite as I can make myself flawless too.
My first editing project got myself hooked more to manipulation and deviation. However, after a while I realize that less is more. So, I started to emphasized more on my photography skills rather than depending fully on photoshop and I applied it during Mr & Mrs Fitzer actual wedding day photoshot.
After some time, I stopped photography 'businesses' due to my busy work.

FREE Weeken Holiday for 3 Months!!!
Last January, my hubby told me that his company gonna send him for outstation in Labuan Station for a month. Usually, the company will come out with everything except for our own expenses (shopping of cause).
So, after one month there, suddenly it was extended to 3 months. For me, it's like a weekend holiday. Even though it's quite tiring, from SDK-KKIA-LBN & vice versa, but everything was paid off and worth it coz I get my weekly Holiday getaway for FREE.
Hubby was asked to choose either Grand Dorsett Hotel or Waterfront and we choose Waterfront Hotel coz we love the environment and the landscape. For us, the main attraction here is the super large swimming pool.
When we first checked in, we are given a room at the ground floor facing to Ujana Shopping complex. We requested to change our room to the one facing to the swimming pool but too bad it was under renovations. The following months, we are given a room at the main building. Ohhh did I mention that the old building (the first time we checked in) is actually used to be Labuan Hospital Building? It's stereotype but it does makes me feel scared a little bit. I tried to think positive about that hotel and assume that the stories told are just rumours...So far, nothing spooky or scary things happened during our stay.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Even though we encountered with small problem with one of the rude housekeeping staff, but everything went back just fine after she was warned by the manager. Well RM270 x 90 days = customers are ALWAYS right!! Some people just need to be teach a lesson just to make them understand their mistakes right. (Ohhh that was the first and the last time we met that lack of manners lady).
During the final week of our stay, we got a complimentary 'thank you' voucher from the Hotel; BBQ buffet dinner for 2 pax at the Spinnaker. This is one of Spinnaker's signature and they having this only on Saturday evening at 6:00pm-11:00pm. They really serve yummylicious food especially the bbq part and I do recommend you guys to try it out if it's happen that you gonna go there in a future.

It's a Holy Holiday....
***** OMGosh!!! The above story actually haven't been post YET. All this while, it remained in 'unpublish post' and I just notice it today (I mean 5 minutes ago). *****
I'm not going to 'erase' the previous post coz so sayang bah kan mau kasi delete macam tu saja. Lagipun, funny pula sia rasa terbaca balik post dulu-dulu ni.
Anyway, I will just continue on my previous topic. Well, It's a Holy Holiday. Ermmm it's not really a holiday now, but I will just assume that this PMR examination as holiday. Afterall, it do feels like Holiday. The only difference is, We are having holidays from T&L (teaching & learning activities).
To shorten the whole story;
Ok. I always wanted to share this pictures since last year but don't know how and not sure why, it just put in 'save' section. So, almost half of the pictures in this topic are taken last year. The setting gonna be in Sandakan, Sabah.
This is actually the first time my brother, Gary came to Sandakan. Unlike Minnie and Anan! I am not so sure if they like it here or they just bored...
